Sayantan Das Email Biography Dr. Sayantan Das is an Associate Professor and a Program Coordinator in the Department of Computational Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at Texas A&M University–San Antonio. He earned his PhD. in Materials Science and Engineering from Texas State University in 2015. His research focuses on colloidal nanoparticle synthesis and bottom-up thin film deposition for sensorial applications, including photonics and electrical/electronic measurements. Dr. Das has published in top ranked journals such as IEEE TIM, Sensors and Actuators, and Applied Surface Sciences, and has reviewed over 100 manuscripts for journals including IEEE TIM and Applied Physics. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry(MRSC), and a two-time recipient of the IEEE TIM Outstanding Reviewer Award.
